Born in the down-and-out Hough neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio, DJ Krash begin making beats as a child on overturned buckets. Raised by a single mom, Krash hung out with kids that shared a love for music, growing up on hip hop, rock, and reggae. At age 15 he managed to “acquire” a used drum kit and put a band together, but soon left it when he was introduced to early Jamaican dub and eventually its transition to dubstep. He became obsessed with making beats, and started making mixtapes and DJing in local clubs as a teenager. After years in the underground scene, honing his unique sound, he caught the attention of DJ Paul - one half of legendary Memphis rap group Three 6 Mafia.
Krash says, “I always knew I'd be doing music since I was a kid, and meeting Paul was the break I've been waiting for. This is what I know and this collab is just the beginning."
The collaboration between Cali native The K.I.D. Heat, DJ Paul and DJ Krash resulted in the hot new track “How I Feel.” This single is drawing some attention, and you might be surprised who makes appearances in the video! The track is also featured in the new Criss Angel BeLIEve Spike TV series.
